I've been on the search for a new hair salon, proficient in both color and cut. I chose Eclips based on Google reviews and was lucky enough to be matched with Andy Kim. Andy spent time to understand my color/cut journey and my desired end state. (At this point, I just needed a good cut and better color options.) Andy listened, provided choices (some to be delivered over time), and ended up delivering an amazing color fix and stylish cut on the first try. Andy clearly understands the science of color and the dynamics involved in shaping hair and can explain it in explicit detail. From the first time, a stylist listened to me versus pushing their own vision of what my color and cut should look like. Andy's fees are very reasonable given what I paid recently at two salons for suboptimal color treatments and cuts. Also noting that Marcella provided the most gentle shampoo that I've ever experienced (IYKYK). The shampoo chairs are so very comfortable and have substantial foot rests. The entire salon is has a lovely low key ambiance, soothing colors, and seems well maintained. I'll continue to return to Eclips for the superb services of Andy (and Marcella).
